Hi Nikki--just something fun for the children. We've bought jingle bell bracelets and we're going to dress them up and have music playing and parents along a route with bells ringing. Let the children take a big group photo and then come back to the activity room for cookies and milk. Should take all of about 20 minutes for all the groups to run and get back...then we have the holiday shoppe open for shopping....probably a couple of crafts there at the activity room as well...d
I am unsure of the age range, but maybe you could get some unpainted wooden ornaments. People could paint and personalize them and hang them on a christmas tree that would stay up through the season (i am assuming this is hosted in the school). These could be for fun or you could sell them as a fundraiser. Also, you could buy 3 large styrofoam balls and make a giant snowman. Bring funny hats and props and let the kids change his outfits. If you have a digital camera, you could take a picture of them with thier snowman and this would cost you nothing unless you wanted prints. The kids could then order their own on a web site like kodak.com or you could just post them on your school web page. Perhaps a sack race using giant stockings that can be found in the $ store. Lastly, you could try christmas Karaokee if they are still small enough to not yet have an image to worry about.

This is an annual event for us. We hold it from 6-9 on a friday night. We have a catered dinner (pre-sell tickets), doorprizes, Silent Auction of basket or filled stocking made by each class, Pictures with Santa, a Sweet Shoppe, a Santa Shoppe with letters to Santa, a Cake walk, games, crafters and lots of decorations. This year we also let the teachers classes or clubs have booth to make profits for the classroom. One is selling hot-chocolate, one is doing a make it take it craft. We made at least $2000 last year, and we are a school of 200 students, PK-5. I don't have any pics of last year, sorry...I was too busy running around! [img]smile.gif[/img]
