Don't forget BoxTops. They are a great way to raise money without selling 'stuff'. We raised over $4,000 last year just with BoxTops!

We are participating in this grant from Modern Woodmen of America. It is for a new playground, I am thinking it is $20K. Parents can go to the website every day and vote for our school. I've apparently lost that web page! I do need to find it. If no one knows it I am sure I will find it this week.

Our school dos BoxTops for Education. It is really simple and we earn alot of money each year from it. We rely mostly on our fundraising and this year we are thousands behind so we are trying to come up with all kinds of different things. Our local McDonald's is having a school night for us. One night in January, between 4-8pm, they are donating 10% of their total sales, not just what our school buys. I am hoing this works out. If anyone else has any ideas, YEAH!!

Jean at work....we use the points system at our school for our volunteers. Parents have to earn 30 points each school year by volunteering, coaching, helping teachers, attend field trips..this is only a few ways to earn the points. If they do not earn the 30 points...they are to pay $10.00 for each point not earned. So 30 points = $300.00. We are a parochial school and they use to enforce this back a few years ago. I'm not sure why they got out of the groove of doing this. Now parents really take advantage of not volunteering. We are trying to bring this system back as we have a new priest that is helping to enforce this. I would be happy to send you our points system is you need it. Could you share anything you have regarding how you make it mandatory, etc. I would greatly appreciate it.
