Like I said eariler, this is such a neat idea. But...... we have a lot of females that are very into our two rivial teams. What about them? Any ideas???

I appreciate the positive replys....its very encouraging...so for those who have asked for more details ...our media center and reading room have recliners and glider rockers, we are charging $3 for admission...the raffle tickets are $1...and we are having the food(hots and hamburgers) donated. We are serving root beer, this is going to be a blast. Take this idea and rn with it.

Oh my GOSH! Here in Gator/Seminole country, this is a great idea! Please give more details, where is it held, who provides the snacks, what are you charging, who is providing the TV, recliners, etc.

What a great idea that would work here too in BILLS country. The dads would really love that!!!

AN idea we got from one of the dads that finally came to one of our PTO meetings is that there were no events that catered to the dads...all of the activities were "girl stuff" so we put him in charge or rallying the men and the dads of the school...why did we do that(it's a good thing) we are having a couch potato party for the dads during this rival football game( UofM vs. MSU), they are even renting a big screen tv and having a raffle for vip seats which are 3 lazy boy recliners & their own personal coolers and second prize is a complete steak dinner served on game day....no alcohol of course ....the men are fired up...I don't doubt for one minute that this will not become a school tradition.....
