One of my favorites is a "take a break" bag. We take a small cellophane bag and fill it with a tea bag, an individual packet of coffee (or cocoa) and a biscotti.

something off of the food line that we did one year for staff appreciation was we had the kindergarten classes draw pictures (like 5inches by 5 inches) with crayons, we took them glued them to card stock and wrote the following saying: "Just like a crayon box each one of you unique but when you get together the picture is complete!' we glued a couple of crayons on the sides. It isnt food but they loved them and you still see them hanging up, the saying is from the "crayon box that talked".
Food related how about getting volunteers to bake goodies and have a desert day, or we did apples one day. It was funny how that went over, I think anything that just says tHanks! On halloween we did lollipop ghosts with saying "thanks for being a treat". Good luck

I would put a basket of mini's in the teacher's lounge with the treat of the month and a cute saying. Some I used last year were:
Thanks for your commit"mint"
You are a "lifesaver"
Educators are worth a "100 grand"
You are a "treasure"
Special people deserve tons of "hugs & kisses"
If your school receives those staff appreciation type catalogs, you can get tons of ideas for them and buy the stuff your self. Our staff loves to get cookies, so for you could make sugar cookies that have a design on them or use cookie cutters to make shapes for whatever si going on that month.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

YOU COULD ALSO DO THE "APPRECIATION" POEM. I THINK THAT IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO END UP DOING.. IT'S CUTE. IT IS A POEM IN WHICH CANDY IS MENTIONED THROUGHOUT THE POEM AND THEN YOU STICK THAT CANDY INTO A SMALL BAG, CUP OR EVEN A SMALL BASKET.

We are doing small heart candies that we are going to make into lollipops with a little poem on the "bouquet" for the teachers return to school. Something to the effect that with these chocolates and our children they now have all the hearts we hold dear in their classrooms....I don't know. But that is pretty cheap...

I am new to the PTO and Hospitality. I need ideas for monthly teacher treats. The budget is also pretty tight. So can anybody help with ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
