Good morning and THANKS AGAIN for all the help I have received from you all... In past and present posts, it has all helped a great deal...
I have gotten my PTO packet planned and will get it all ran off this week and together and will be handing it out at Open House as well as have some extras that the school will hand out as new students come in during the school year. We still have no officers but that is in the packet(a nominations form) and I am going to be on our local radio station this week or next, talking about our PTO, what we accomplished last year and maybe get some community members involved this year. I have set up a PTO website and have the URL on the Welcome letters to the teachers and the one to the parents.I have a parent survey also in the packet with a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Wal Mart, that all kids returning the form will get their name in... Just praying it works as our school is a small one and we had to consolidate and there is little parental involvement...But it's a new year, with new hopes and dreams so just maybe it will work....
