I have done this exact thing for the past year at my sons school.
In good conscience, I cannot send a copy to you as it contains way to much information.
I can describe what is looks like.
Front Cover- Art from free website, Name, address of school.
Inside front cover- All staff, teachers by grade and phone extentions.
Next 5 page- All teachers and classs rosters listed in alphabetical order
Directory- all students listed in alpha order with name, grade, teacher, parents names, address, e-mail.
Class parents- listed for each class.
PTO executive members listed, all committees and chairpersons.
Back cover is reminder to attend meetings, with years schedule of meeting dates listed.
You can use the above to mock up something. I use Word and Access to put this together. Printing and binding done at work (ssshhh).

I almost have everyone convinced that we need a school directory this year. Does anyone have a copy of an actual directory they could send me? If I can show exactly what it would look like, preferably, many different examples, it may be easier to put them over the edge in agreement. I promise I would not use the info inside them for anything other than having a looksee.
Also, if anyone has a copy of the letter they sent home to get permission and information, I would appreciate a copy of that also. I don't have WORD or the other Office programs, so if you could just copy and paste into an e-mail, it would work better for me.
