Teacher Appreciation Gifts??

19 years 3 months ago #111966 by mykidsmom
A coupleyears ago I enlisted a fellow crafter and we made simple signs that just say "thank you". The Principal still has hers on her desk as well as many techers.

What I would like to do for our office staff (still need to present it to the others) is give then each a small plant. Definatly one that can take anything (I have a name but can't spell it ;) ). They all have a huge window in the office area and just think it could be that one thing they can always have!

I tried to go to that website and it said that it wasn't a valid address.

We're buying personalized stickers from www.threedoggrapx.com for our teachers. We haven't decided on what we're getting for the staff members yet. I thought these stickers were cute and could be used by those teachers that will not be back next year at our school.

Amsterdam has lots of good stuff right now. We purchased pens with our school name and logo as one of the gifts. Oriental Trading has some neat stuff as well including individual items or goody bags.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

I used Positive Promotions too. I like that company.

You could also do homemade things like "Friendship Tea." That is one of those things you can put into a reuseable jar. Also you can never go wrong with Bath stuff and candles. I am sure they could use some R and R at this time of year. Gift cards from a salon or spa may work since you don't have very many to buy for (maybe you could beg for a discount).
