Try a powerpoint presentation made by students, or contact your local colleges, adult learning for presentation short class ideas.

Or check out SETI, Nasa, JPL or the USGS (US Geological survey) websites for project presentation ideas..

Hope it helps

I'd suggest interactivity like using the computers. Have, maybe, the students come in and show their parents their projects that they've been doing in the computer lab, maybe play games and have teachers show the parents good sites for students and parents. You could also support quick classes where someone can show a small group of students a certain feature computers do, and as a normal idea, create a volunteer association to have an extended period (over summer or after/before school) where they teach something complicated, like HTML (website creation), or advanced Powerpoint presentation creation.

I hope you appreciate the feedback!

Every year our school does a Tech Night. The parents get to see the computer lab and besides the bake sale and book fair that are the same night there usually isn't anything else. Does anyone have some ideas? I was thinking about asking people from the community to come in with a booth, like how the police or fire dept use technology in their jobs. I don't know if this would go over well, but I just want to liven things up a bit.
