I am thrilled that this was changed, and I will continue to fight for further changes in the regulations that are about big money interests and not at all about childhood obesity.

For those of you who live in Texas and were upset by the cupcake ban(and there were many based upon discussions), relief is here. In today paper (9/2/04) the top story in our Metro section said that Texas lifted the ban on cupcakes as long as they are served after lunch. The school district has the right to choose whether to leave their policy the way it is or allow cupcakes. Yeah!
