parents must get invovled with our organization. They can not miss more than 2 meetings in a row, they have to particpate in fundraising, activities, programs etc. through out the year. They will also serve on a committee that will be their choosing on their abilities and specialty. If they can do these things they receive a booster sport pass for their family to get into home ball games free. If they fail to attend meetings etc. they will be revoked and a list will be given to gate keepers.

We don't know if it will help, but it is worth a try.

a huge success.

We served hot dogs, chips, tea or lemonaide and each family brought a dozen cookies or pan of brownies. We fed the teachers at 5:30, and families came at 6. We had people sign in and we gave them a ticket for door prizes. We introduced teachers and staff, then served the families, made announcements and drew tickets for door prizes. Then everyone could visit their class rooms, kids took supplies to classrooms too. At 7:30 we had board members, administration and teachers taking turns in a dunk tank and pie throwing. These 2 things we charged $1.00 for 3 balls or 1 pie. We also had other games for the kids that we didn't charge for but had prizes for. We had a really great turn out. And the families had a really good time. Teachers enjoyed it as did the administration. We made enough money to pay for the food and other expenses. We also had a table and sold t-shirts, sweatshirts etc. and that did really well too. The only thing we didn't have a good turnout for was people signing up to volunteer on our committees. But we hope to change that with our family sport passes with involvment.
