Click on the "School Family Nights" section on the left, and send away for information on Family Movie Night and Family Arts and Crafts Night. Both those kits will give you lots of information to get something like that going.

Oh a kindergarten mom recruit! We love you guys! Recently Metzy mom suggested a reading night which could be a family activity. I absolutely loved it! The parents got together in the schools library and read what their children were reading. Why not have the families do that?
You could also organize a game of kickball parents against kids!

I've agreed to be the chair for this committee (Family Fun Activities) at our elementary school. My daughter is a Kindergartner and I've got no experience on what the school has done in the past. I've been given nearly nothing. I've put together some ideas but wondered if there were other ideas out there to consider. My thoughts were (1) book exchange and creating bookmarks (2) Valentines Day Card..Arts & Crafts projects and (3) Bike Ride with booths for water. Help!
