I just started a PTO at my kids charter school. I searched this site and found EVERYTHING I needed either on the board or emailing replies to specific topics. The board participants are wonderful as are the staff of PTO today.
I am trying to gather information on starting a parent group at my children's day care. Looking for information on how to start, how to recruit, communicate and gain the support of the centers directors. Has anyone done this? I don't expect instant results but am willing to try and fail and try again.
