Okay - for those who "know" me, we just had a very first PTO meeting last night. Thanks to those of you for the encouragment, ideas and support. It was a huge crowd and everything went well (except for me forgetting to get votes on the passing of the by-laws) I got through the motions and just forgot to get the votes. My brother-in-law laughed and called me a dictator! Oh, well!

Anyway - the point of this whole message was to tell you that we had an artificial, 6 1/2 foot Christmas tree donated to us - prelit. We had a lady who professionally decorated trees in her spare time donate her time and the teachers donated the ornaments and you would not believe how beautiful the tree came out! We ended up selling over $600.00 in raffle tickets in 3 days. Not bad for a rural school. Next year, we plan on starting much earlier.
