What a cool resource of volunteers. After reading your post, I visited Target's website and found a web page about Target Volunteers. It stated that any organization needing volunteers are encouraged to go to their local Target store and ask for the Target Volunteer Captain. Hopefully it's that simple! It's worth checking out! We had a meeting yesterday with some Target reps as guests. We found out that each Target store must provide the community with 12 community service projects. This is a great idea when we need volunteers to help with various functions. They did not go into a lot of detail, but I'm willing to be that if they come out for even a couple hours that it counts for them. And just think, many communities now have a regular Target AND a Super Target (mine does)!
