I love the supply basket. We have teacher who don't really support us and if we start offering a gift maybe they will send home our info.

What a great idea. Thanks for sharing. I was feeling a little bummed out about our attendance. You gave me a much needed & practical solution that I feel sure will work. I will bring this up at our next PTO meeting. Best Regards, "hickwoman"

Free food and door prizes! Of course people will go for free and they may accidently get something out of the meeting along the way, but keep that a secret.

We don't do anything major. You could have a refreshment committee. We usually just have a few cookies, maybe some punch, but usually sodas. I would get our door prizes from the Dollar Store.

The teachers in each "hall" with the most parents there gets a supply basket. Something they can use in the room. I kept it in a $10-$15 range. Some parents will come for that also, the teachers loved it.

I am part of a Middle School PTO. We are looking for ideas for our monthly meetings to increase parent attendance (which is very low). What ideas are out there to bring parents in?
Thanks for the support!
