We have the grandparents come visit adn they can stay for lunch if they wish We also have what we call adopted grandparents. they are volunteer grandparents from the school. If a child has no grandparents we get some to come share the morningw with them Its really pretty neat!

Our lunch program has a grandparents week. Where grandparents are invited to eat lunch with their grandkids on a scheduled day. Only 2 or 3 classes per day (out of 21) still makes it pretty crowded. So if this is something your planning you may want to keep that in mind.

The kitchen manager sends out forms with the schedule in order to see about how many will be attending so there will be enough food prepared that day.

Hello,
I am the new PTO President for our Elementary school and I wanted to add "Grandparents day" to our list of PTO sponsored events. I want this to be a special day for our kids and their grandparents.
Can anyone share some ideas, as this is new to me and I don't know where to begin.

Thanks!
