Hello. I have been President of our PTO since the beginning of this school year...and has it ever been a challange!!! Long story short, I am the only participating parent in our PTO. We do have a few volunteers for a few functions, but it is just me at the meetings, and making decisions. A few teachers attend, and the principal, but that is it. I need help!! LOL. I would love to have copies of any of the packets that you all send out. I think that is a great idea!! We have tried monthly newsletters, but no response. To tell the truth, it has been hard to accomplish what I wanted, being the only one doing anything. We do have over 100 members. They join, but do not participate. HELP!! I believe I am going to be heading it up again next school year...am I a glutten? Just in PTO for the kids!!

I would be interested in a copy of your pamplet you send home with your K parents. We are trying to get our parents of our younger students more involved so we have them for many years to come. I really want them to see what the PTO does for the school. I don't think many realize exactly how much we do. please e-mail you PTO pamplet to me.
