I found out about FirstDay Foundation at the PTO Show, they have a LOT of information - FREE!!!

FDF also an e-mail newsletter that you can sign up for as well as literature. Also a great video, (pay $5 for s/h) that we viewed at the PTO Show, explaining more.

Check it out. The people that are the hardest to sell this to is the teachers & staff (believe it or not). They say "why add to the chaos, I have too much to do on the first day already".

The FDF literature addresses this.

Just checked out the website. I had no idea there was an actually organization for this! We are considering hosting a boo-hoo breakfast for the first day and I just sent for their activity list through the website for more ideas! Thanks for the heads up!
