how did you find out who your financial advisor was? we got our kit and there was no phone number and the stamps were missing. our committee chair will be following up on it. did someone call you or was there a letter included?
We had our first School Family Night this past Tuesday. We had a Financial Advisor from American Express come and speak. We ended up with a poor turnout which was sort of discouraging. Weather conditions might have deterred some and I know some had good reasons for not being there but still. Our principal and the two teachers that were scheduled to attend our meeting this month, stayed for the meeting and then left before the speaker because their kids are already grown and out of college! I guess I can understand but I still thought it was a little rude.
Anyway, the speaker was excellent! He gave some great information and had handouts that will be very helpful. There was no pressure on anyone to use his company or anything. I would recommend having this program at school. I hope we can participate in the next school family night.
