End of Year Carnival Ideas Needed

We are preparing to have our 2nd one next month and last year was great. Beside the normal games this year we contacted the Army National Guard and they have rock climbing that is brought to different community functions to try to get possible enlistments. Its owned by the state so they can't charge PTO but yet we can make a profit from our parents. Try the guard in your area to see if they have one. I think its going to be a big hit. Also, we're adding a baseball throw, inflatable slide, dunking booth and of course food! Also, as far as add'l volunteers, our local highschool seniors need extra "prom points" that are giving to them for community services. We have been notified that we will be 60 coming to help us!!! Good luck and if I can help with add'l comments, let me know.

We had our last carnival nearly two years ago (and, unfortunately, it may well be the last ever due to lack of volunteers) and brought in a bounce house which was very popular. We also have local dance and martial arts groups provide entertainment. Good luck with your carnival!

We're coming up on the end of the year for our outside carnival and I'm interested in what everyone else does. We do the face painting, tatoo's, basketball throws, knock the cans down, bubble blowing contest, cake walk...the usuals, does anyone have something out of the ordinary to share? We're an elementary school. Some of the parents don't even want to do this anymore but some of us think we need to keep it. We get a pretty good turn out and most important - the kids love it. So I'm co-chairing it - and really want to make it fun. Any ideas? Thanks!
