The "good Dr." did write some adult books that I have seen in Barnes and Noble and a book called "Oh, the Places You will Go" we had the Junior Class read to our Seniors at graduation. Don't forget all the shows and the movie "Grinch"
see if there is a website for him....oh the stuff you could find .
We read him a lot
not just to my tots
to the older one, too
because she likes him too
Some of his best work
make my children snort :D
twist you dad's tongue
making him wish to be young
memorize I have two
Horton the Elephant
and Left Foot Right Foot
What a crazy dude!

Sounds like fun! Just a quick suggestion, though. Unless your school is a pre-school or just K - 2, I would find something to appeal to older kids. As a parent of a fourth grader and teenagers, I don't think this would be something we would be interested in. Re-reading this, I don't mean to sound mean, just honest. I don't think we picked up a Dr. Seuss book after my youngest finished first grade and became a fluent reader. Maybe some make it-take it crafts? Drawing contest or add on to a well known Dr. Seuss book? good luck!

We are having our first "Parent Night". Our school is not known for its parental invovlement. We're hoping to change that!! We're having an all you can eat pizza and reading party where the children read to their parents and vice versa. This is going on during the week of Dr. Seuss' 99th B-day week. Can anyone give me any tips or advice?
