They loved them. I never received so many hugs from the teachers. Myself and one of my Co-Vice Presidents delivered them and I was sure to wish each teacher a "good year" and remind them of my accessibility to them. We have had a strained relationship in the past with our teachers but I am determined to change that this year. We're off to a good start! Thanks for everyone that posts on PTO Today!

It's sounds like a wonderful relationship is about to bloom and that your teachers are going to love you and your board - but of course you'll want to continue to develope this excellent direction with them, so here's what I propose if you haven't already done this.

Many PTAs have a chairmen for Teacher Appreciation. One of the goal of that chairmen is to provides little goodies and cute notes (like with the "Teachers Survival Candy Ideas" in the teachers mailboxes each month.

I know I have a packet upstairs with more information on more mailbox goodies and notes - so I'll try and add that too - real soon.

Best of luck and consider putting a note and goodie in those sweet teachers mailboxes from time to time - even it it's done for the change of season or such. Remember Teacher Appreciation can be all year long, and does not have to be expensive at all.
