How perfect for a simple gift - someone might want to prepare for an end of the year teacher gifts.

Type, print and put it in a nice frame. Make a difference and the teachers will appreciate your gift more than you'll ever know.

Here's a collection of staff inspirations that many of my PTAs have asked for over the years - so I want to share with you too.

Hope one or more is usefull to you as you send notes to the teachers and staff all through the year - allowing them to feel confident that the PTO / PTA members understand the role the teachers have on the lives of our future leaders, scientists, parents and all the many roles they will take on in their life.

THE TEACHER was created by DEAR PARENTS
FOLLOWING IS AN INSPIRATIONAL POEM THAT MANY OF YOUR SCHOOL'S TEACHERS MIGHT ENJOY.SHARE IT WITH THEM.

WRITTEN BY DR. LESLIE PINCKNEY HILL,PRESIDENT
OF CHEYNEY STATE TEACHER'S COLLEGE FROM 1923-1951(NOW CHEYNEY UNIVERSITY),CHEYNEY PA.

THE TEACHER

Lord, who am I to teach the way
To little children day by day,
So prone myself to go astray?

I teach them KNOWLEDGE,but I know
How faint they flicker and how low
The candles of my knowledge glow.

I teach them POWER to will and do.
But only now to learn anew
My own great weakness through and through.

I teach them LOVE for all mankind
And all God's creatures,but I find
My love comes lagging far behind.

Lord,if their guide I still must be,
Oh,let the little children see
The teacher leaning hard on thee.
