Database Software

I've set us up with a free volunteer database system that you would put on your website server. If you don't have a website, it wouldn't work (I don't think). It's called SOS (Sons of Service). The website to download it is: sos.sourceforge.net

I've done some editing of the code with the Author. He's really cooperative and helped me within a few hours to a few days. He didn't leave me hanging. Hi!

I posted this under the PTO Show category & thought maybe it should be posted here.

We attended the show in Philly & a fellow member attended a session (I think with Craig from PTO Today) about different websites that had places to get free software for keeping track of our volunteers & what they'd sign up to help with and their children, etc. I know there was a vendor fromo Futures, but my board doesn't want to spend the $300 if we don't have to. Does anyone have this info??? Or do you use something that does the same thing??? Please help!!! I'd like to get as much of the info put into the system before school starts! Thanks!
Holly
