Check your by laws to see what it says. Is the current VP willing to take over? Is your outgoing President willing to remain in the job? Is there anyone else you know of who is willing to take the job?

In our PTO you can only hold the same board position for 2 years, unless no one else wants the position. The first thing you need to do is see exactly what your bylaws say and then take it from there.
