Let's look at this the easy way...
WHat are you planning? Let's say a Spring Fling..
Food-
Entertainment-
Games (break that down)
Clowns

etc.......

Remember planning a wedding be it yours or someoneelses? You broke each thing down and made a list. Cake, Invites, Guest list, Dresses/Tux, Place, Food....same concept.
Right now I have a Easter egg hunt, Seder Dinner, Teacher Appreciation Dinner, Summer Skate pass fundraiser....each very different in it's own way but each list I have starts with the basic notions of what needs to be done and then the details are worked in and volunteer duties come from that.

no???? Okay, then I would check out Martha Steward. SHE knows how to plan a party and did it for a living! Check her site or a couple books!

Kids, mom's got work to do...pen, paper, glass of Pepsi, big table, deep breath....what's first?

you CAN do this!!!!! ;) :D

In case you ever look at this again - I have found a bunch of library books - just do a search at your local library on events planning. There's even events planning for dummies and for idiots and they have tools in them.

Does anyone have a form or guidelines for event planning. You know the kind that list tasks and assignments. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
