What is your budget for next year?

21 years 2 months ago #97881 by Critter
Two schools:

PreK-1 -- 500 students, NET income budget of $28,000

Grade 2-5 -- 670 students, NET income budget of $$22,000

We budget to spend all our income each year, save $2,000 carryover, though we always exceed that carryover target.

We are a k-5 school with 520 kids. We just had our budget meeting for next year, and our budget came to $29,400. We are starting alot of new programs that we never had before, such as a yearly scholarship in honor of oour retiring principal. We also need more library books, since our district recently went to all-day kindergarten. We added a line item to purchase library books every year now too. Our PTO does an excellent job of providing funds for the teachers as well, through classroom material reimbursement. Good Luck!

We don't have a budget. Isn't that crazy!! Last year we spent around $18,500. We are a K-2 school with @ 460 kids and 31 teachers. We bought a few extra items that we normally don't have. (A climing wall for the gym, etc.)

Just wondering what your PTO budget is for next year--also include the size and grade level of your school for comparison.

We are a K-4 school with around 400 students--our next years budget is around $16,300
