We do not give teachers a set amount. Every year we have them give us their "wishlist" of items. We see what they cost and figure which we can afford to purchase for them. Then of course it is voted by the members.
I am a new co-president of a very limited volunteer organization. Someone suggested changing the $175 teacher allotment for next year. They indicated that the $175 was too much for a teacher, especially since they don't pay for parties. My first questions is what are other schools doing the second is can we change this this year or would it have to go into effect for the 2003-2004 school year.
