end of year principal/assistant principal gifts

22 years 4 months ago #95982 by jbwayside
Our Principal is a former coach. Last year we gave him a gift certificate to one of the golf courses. He loved it. One of our fundraisers is to sponsor a golf tournament. He did 75%of the work so it was a fairly easy day for PTO volunteers. This year we will need to add a gift for an Asst. Principal (didn't have an Asst last year). Any ideas would be appreciated.

We usually make our gifts. Last year, we did flower pots with seeds that said "You Plant The Seeds Of Knowledge". Every member of the staff got one, and believe me, size counted! The Principal and Asst. Principal got the biggest ones (we also included a spade and gloves in theirs), the teachers and support staff got the next size down, the aides, custodians, bus drivers and cafeteria workers got the next size down. We decorated the pots with puffy paints. I think everyone loved their gift. Probably cost less than the gift certificates...lol... Here's an idea: Get your local steakhouse to DONATE two certificates, each good for dinner for two.

hi guys, just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for this. Last year the principal and assistant principal got gift certs to the local mall. Apparently they weren't equal amounts though which I don't think is fair (but that's a different story). Anyhow, does anyone have any suggestions? thanks, maggie
