I am going trough the same thing also. I would really appreciate it if any one could e-mail a copy of there budget so I can compare it to ours. I would be willing to forward any one a copy of ours.

Our budget includes things like:
Estimated Income-from things like membership, pictures, bookfairs, jog a thon, spirit sales, carnival, albertsons.
Estimated Operating Expenses-insurance, start up supplies, printing, publications, hospitality, NSF/bank fees
Estimated Program Expenditures-Membership, yearbook, bookfairs, carnival, spirit sales, skills day, awards, 6th grade activities
Donations to School- school beautification, teacher supplies, technology, assemblies

Our PTO is in the process of rebuilding. Somewhere in the past people lost interest and 2 years ago, we began again by electing officers. In the 2 years, our PTO has accomplished alot for the students and now that all our major issues are resolved, we don't have any idea what to do next. We are attempting to establish some sort of a budget, by-laws, etc. Everything that all of the well-ran PTO's have. Since our school is small (K-3), we know that our time there is short and would hate to see all our hard work wasted by not leaving some sort of system/procedures behind for the next group. If anyone could help it would be appreciated. We are in desperate need of sample budgets, by-laws and any other forms used by PTO's that have established a solid group.
