Hi! I could use some help also. I am co pres. and as we have no other board members we are also co treasure. We was gave no records from past years and not sure as to how the books are to be kept. With all the problems now days with money walking off and all, we want to make sure we are doing everything right. We have the check book and that is up to date from when we came in but what kind of records and books do you keep? And a budget can't say the pto ever had one.We are a K-8 with around 100 kids. This year we have raised around $4,000. I will be pres. this coming April and the pres. is stepping out of the PTO and so far no one is willing to take on any spot. We have a two ladies that always helps out but will not hold office.

I could use any budget forms or help you have available. As far as I know, our PTO does not use a formal budget. I take over as President next year and would like any help you can offer to get me started planning for next year. Thanks!
