Hi!! I am the PTO secretary for the second year in a row. Last year, the bulletin board was pretty much handed over to me because the vice-president didn't want to do it any more. I loved it!! I had the calender with all special activities made larger, the newsletter, and many other wonderful things. Even The art teacher told me how good it looked!! Well, the problem I am having now is that there is a new president and she told me at the beginning of the year that the executive board had to decide on who would be chairperson of the bulletin board. Well, it is now almost October and there has been no decision. At the beginning of the year the president from 3 years ago asked if she could do it for August, which she did and it looked ok but not very informative or artistic. I finally asked if I could do Octobers and she told me I had to ask the chairperson, THE PRESIDENT FROM 3 YEARS AGO!! Now, correct me if I am wrong but in our by-laws it says the president and the principal have to decide, subject to approval from the executive board which I am a part of. What should I do ? The president told me to bring it up at our next meeting. But by then it is halfway into October. I am ssssssoooooo confused.
