This is done by our school staff and Principal. I think that s there is a volunteer appreciation done it should be done by the school. I feel that as PTO members we should always make sure a "Thank You" is said to everyone who helps. I think it is a very nice thought, but I dont think I would do continue to do it. I feel if the staff did it it may be a little different and more people would show!! Good Luck!!

Our PTO started doing a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast at the end of the year but attendance has dropped. Would like to know what other PTOs do to show appreciation for volunteer support. In the past we've had teachers provide food, kids make a small, inexpensive gift (got any ideas?)and we have it at school at 9a.m. I'm interested in what other groups do.
