Thanks I just wanted to make sure we were not the only ones who do business this way. I feel better, and you are right, there are other banks in the sea!

Weird--that is how we do things routinely. When does a bank have the right to say "stop writing checks" to anybody. Unless you have a debit card "which I think is risky business" tough luck Mr. Bank--we'll find a new place to do business if necessary....

I am the PTO president of a very small school. Our budget is small, but we do manage to get a lot done. The way we shop for teacher dinners, Santa Shop, etc, is one of us will go out, shop, then hand in the recipts, and get a check to give them back the money they spent. We have been told by our bank, not to do this, "Stop making checks out to each other." Not sure how elso to get the job done, but I am open to any input anyone has. Thanks
