So you don't like your principle

xyzMom - We are going through the same thing with our principal. She is new this year, and everyone dislikes her. She is very unorganized and makes bad decisions for our school. She doesn't appreciate our PTO and all we do for the school. We are all thinking about quitting.

Just make friends with him/her. try talking about your goals and ask him/her what they'd like to see the pto accomplish. I did this at the beginning of this year with a principal that everyone said was hard to deal with. He has been on board with 95% of our ideas and I call that a success.

I have the same ? as pals and another...are you newer to the group, PTO or volunteering in general? It can just be a matter of a personality conflict. Without knowing details of "why" there is a dislike for the principal I ditto what was said above. Maybe try to meet, become the bridge so to speak. Try to talk a lot to work things out and come to mutual understandings on what and how things are being done.

Just curious is your principal new at your school? sometimes that can make things rough. Other than that I need to keep my mouth shut for once! hee hee
