I need help!! Our organization recently found out that our sales tax exempt number may be invalid. We are in Ohio. Is there any way to find out without knowing the number? I recently asked a fellow officer and she did not tell me the ID number. I was planning on running for the Pres. position next year because this PTO needs new direction, but I do not want to put myself in the position of paying for the legal mistakes that the prior board made. They have been recently using this number but have never filed any returns to IRS federal or state level..HELP!!
