Okay I am a regular from way back but need help without people knowing who it is. Our group has been around a few years and this year it is becoming apparent that some old timer volunteers are taking on the wrong attitude. they are talking during meetings amongst themselves, they are not welcoming new volunteers, snapping at staff members and they have really become negative and they seem to think that the school is serving them and that they should be on a pedastal. I have talked with my principal about this and with old history we are watching it very closely to prevent it from getting worse, there are about six of them and they will even show up when they havent signed up to work just to be together and complain. they seem to have forgotten what they are there for and that our school has come along ways for parent involvement. We don't want to scare them away just sort of remind and refreshen why they are there...any polite way of sayong "stop the attitude??" This is the first for our group and I really want to prevent it from growing into a huge issue.
