Recently, there have been questions by UNACTIVE parents requesting to see the check book and bank statements to check the accuracy of the Treasurer reports. OUr group declined, but was told that it may violate some sort of open book laws? Never heard of it, can anyone help with this one?
We hand out monthly reports, and have an annual audit. I have not found anything in Roberts Rules that states we would have to disclose our actual statements.
