Hold an election!!
Give folks a few weeks to nominate others for each office and hold the election at a PTO meeting.

Choosing a board. was created by mompto
We have a PTO President. No board. PTO President made this choice. There are parents that come regularly. Now it is the presidents last year. We want to contuinue our PTO. The President feels she is the one to pick the new president and all the positions required. She says the board is who picks and she is the board. What about the parents that come regularly. If they paid to be members and are active don't they have a say? Is she the one to make these choices? Parents have spoken up and she feels they are not the right people. My position in this school is top work with the parents. Any suggestions?
