I don't know if this helps but as Pres. I call the chairpeople to just check in but usually my chairs can't make a decission w/out a full vote of the board. LOL It's my 2nd year and last year it was the officers who were the project chairs we only had one that wasn't. So we had lunch once a month away from the school and bounce ideas from one another. It made a smoother year. But of course we are only talking about 5 moms.

Maybe you can assign each officer a project to do a buddy system and since the chairs won't come to the meetings then have the officers call to check in so all the work won't be on you.

This is my 2nd year as Pres. The Board is having the hardest time getting our committee chairs involved in the process. We dont want to make all the desicions. How can I rally up some positive involvement from our chairs? The board meets every month and invites them to come, no one shows, yet everyone complains about something! on three occasions it has gotten somewhat ugly in the way they even work together. The board is reeling, we feel like we have lost control! What does everyone else expect from their committee heads? Is a little communication to much to ask?
