I'm not sure I'm the right person to answer this, but here goes: Being the control freak that I am, I'd call the Santa Shop and change the dates back to what I had. I'd also ask the man to fax me over a copy of our order. Knowing me, I'd change the order, add a few other things, delete a few things.

If I'm in the mood to ride on my broom stick,I'd also let the chairperson know that she now has a co-chair(that of course would be ME!!). And of course being me, it's my way or the highway.

Sometime in January, I'd find a co-chair for the next event this woman runs. I'd also make sure that this co-chair can hold her own against this woman. If after all of this she doesn't "see the light", call me and I'll come over and open a can of whoop-ass on her!

We have a person who is chairing quite a few events this year. I am a new pres so I wasnt familiar with this lady now I'm not so sure about her.
First she was running the fundraiser we just had she didnt set up anything, didnt send out letters, and only showed up one day to go through orders.
Then over the summer she called different photographers for the school pictures. It was mentioned at our meeting previously that we have a contract with someone several times!!!!! She denied calling anyone, but the photograhpers were calling me the pto pres to see what was up.

SHe is doing our Secret Santa Shop and she was setting up the guy who we do our shop with. Hopefully she ordered some nice stuff. Now I'm afraid!!! But she changed the dates from what was on the calendar. Which she can't do. I emailed her but havent heard from her yet.

How do I handle this person she changes stuff and means well I'm sure but I dont want to have to keep going over everything she does? Whats the point of having a Chairperson. I'm not sure what to do and she has one more thing to chair in the Spring. UGH!!!
