I doubt you're coding directly in HTML, you are probably using an editor, a software tool, to develop your page. What you are trying to do (set a hyperlink) is a very basic feature, so it should be easy once you find it.
You might try highlighting the text and right clicking. See if there's anything about "hyperlink". If so, that will probably bring up a dialog box. Or there might be a properties box where you enter the address (while the regular words are highlighted). Either way, you need to type in the full address starting with the http:// OR you can browse or cut/paste the address in.
When you've finished, you'll have words that are automatically formatted to be the hyperlink. Usually they are underlined. The mouse pointer usually changes to a different symbol when the user hovers over it. If the user clicks on the link, they go straight to that address.
