PTO Treasury Reports

Shoot me an email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and I will send you a copy of what I give out. If you questions what info she is giving you then check your bylaws to see what she is required to do and if you aren't staisfied with that, then ask for a more detailed report. Keep in mind most Treasures are not trained to do accounting work and usually just follow what the person before then told them to do and then sometimes they don't. Just try to open up the communications because you wouldn't believe how many arguements occur in PTO's because of recordkeeping.

The irony of commitment is that it’s deeply liberating-in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life. --Anne Morris

I am new on here and to the PTO Group this year. Can anyone help me out out the type of treasurer reports that you receive at your meetings. Our Treasurer only provides a one page report, but it doesn't show the checks that were wrote out out the deposits that were made. It basically shows us our items and what we have in each and how much has been spent out of a perticular line. The PTO president and I are looking to see if there should be more of a detailed report presented. Can anyone help? Thanks
