Communication is SO important. Email often if possible. Don't let little things bother you. Sometimes it is hard to let things slide. When that happens take deep breaths and join us on here.
Make sure to regularly talk to each other to make sure you are on the same page about things. Take the other officers notes and keep notes of your own. Plan early.

For the new school year (2005-2006)our Elementary School will start off with all new oficers. I am the PTO Co-President and I wanted to know if anyone could offer any advice that has had the same experience. The out-going officers have told us not to worry because they will be available any time we have questions and will give us all of their notes. We just can't help being nervous though since we are all new!
