Possible President problems

We just had a meeting where we elected our officers. We are starting a little late due to hurricanes and trying to get this PTO started again.
After the elections were over, I noticed that the President elected said that she had flyers already drafted up, etc.. It seemed to me that she knew she was going to be President and seems that she did not want to take in any suggestions.

I came up to her after the meeting when the officers were together suggesting to her that maybe she should bring up in the next meeting that PTO Today is a good place for newcomers to PTO and new officers to get a handle on what we need to do to get our PTO back up and running.

She completely ignored me. The Treasurer asked me for the website so that she could look into it. The President seems to be one of those that want to do everything herself and thinks of everything and suggestions are not welcomed. I had a few parents state that they felt the same way. When she convened the meeting she stated that the officers were going to get together to make some decisions. I don't think so. I thought the PTO is for everyone to make decisions as a team not just the officers.

I am a very outgoing person and would like to be heard especially when we are taking time out of our schedules to be involved in our child's education.

Does anyone have and suggestions. I have a feeling that this is going to be a long year if someone does not say something up front.
