8th Grade Graduation

I read on this site recently (though I didn't print or bookmark) that Oriental Trading has a site that is cheaper and used by not for profits. Same stuff, lower prices. Hopefully someone will see this and refresh my memory. (I promise I'll write it down this time!) I REALLY like the disposable camera idea, very clever. Is there something that says you have to give them 2 things. Do you do a reception afterwards with cake? If not, add a cake - if so, spend a little more in that area and eliminate the flower.

My only word of caution - traditions are traditions no matter how silly they are. Just know that you will hear from someone asking why you didn't do flowers this year - no matter what you change to.

(And when you do - tell them that you are sure the group can benefit from fresh ideas so you are submitting his/her name to the committee chair for next year!)

How many students and how much money each? Oriental Trading has those cute graduation autograph bears. They're about $4 each though. Or bubbles. Or bags of candy.

Our Ptso has given flowers to each student plus a flower to each faculty member..apx. costing $200.00. The PTSO also gives each student a throw away camera costing about $350.00. I need another idea besides the flowers...I think it's a waste of money...help?
