I am in Louisiana but you may want to check and see if you(in Georgia) are getting some refugees in Atlanta. I thought I heard that Atlanta was receiving some...

I worked at our local shelter here today and it is like nothing I have ever seen. The people were so grateful to receive a ziploc bag with toiletries you would have thought it was $100. One lady told me they had to cut through their attic and were rescued via a helicopter.

Thanks for your efforts.

Since they are in need of money, I am going to propose that we send money from our Misc. fund their way.

Hi all, I live in Georgia and we are about to do our big Fall Festival. Some parents have talked about sending a percentage of our profits to help out the hurricane victims. How I understand things are that Texas will be schooling a large number of children the next year. I am sure that is going to be a big strain on the schools and PTOs. We would like to partner with a PTO that is being affected by this turn of events. I wanted to know if any of you out there need our help.
