We're similar to Bertha. Ours is a drawing with tickets sold on site - not in advance. There's a clear ticket jar for each prize, so the contestent fills out their contact info and puts it which ever jar they want.

Note - this also allows us to know what garnered the most interest.

So far this stupid hurricane is not supposed to hit us until about Tuesday since I am so close to the FL-GA line. I'm hoping it will turn and go to the other side of the coast. At our street fair when the 8th graders were doing a raffle to raise money for the dance, they had 10 items you bought tickets for $1.00 each and you put your ticket in for whichever basket you wanted to win. Most people bought a ticket for each basket.

PS. What are you doing on your computer when you should be in your car leaving the state? Haven't you had your TV on lately?

Ok, my questions is this. Since I have about 5 to 7 items to raffle(possibly more), would it be better to sell raffle tickets for one big drawing and if your name is pulled you win whatever we were drawing for?(ex. last year a man won a woman's bracelet) or is it better to make raffle tickets with a place to mark what they would like to win and have them mark it and pay for a ticket for each item they wanted? I think we would make more money it we did indivdual tickets. What do ya'll do?
