Hi there, I'm in charge of pulling together a silent auction for our elementary school, to be held in October. We've never had one at the school before, and I have never been involved with one before either! It will be part of our annual walkathon day, rather than a stand-alone event.
I would appreciate any tips or advice you could share; some of my questions are:
what kind of planning time line have you developed?
how many volunteers did you need to do prep work and then to carry out the auction?
would you share your donor list - we are totally starting out from scratch and this is the part I dread the most!
