I am not sure of the dollar amounts, but our elementary school did one. We received 40% of the money collected. The thing that I liked about it as a parent was that I just filled out cards with family and friends names and addresses. Grandparents from out of state could help with a school fundraiser and get a magazine subscription or even extension of one they already had.

I am wondering about the success rate of selling magazines subscriptions as an elementary school fundraiser. What companies have been best? What type of profit can be expected? I think I purchased magazines from someone not too long ago and the return to the school was supposed to be 50% - Does anyone know if this is correct? I am ready to go on this because I think people buy magazines all the time anyway. Looking forward to any feedback...
